Building Backlinks with Spottts

Spottt is link-building service being offered free by the Adbrite Team. Building back links using this service is quite easy. First you will have to sign up for the service. If you are not a member yet, you can sign up here. . Once you are a member you will have to add your blog or website for approval. Approval usually takes place within 24 hours as stated on the site. An HTML code is provided for members so that their SPOTTT badge will be displayed on their blogs. It is required that the badge should be place near the top of the website so that no scrolling is required to view the Spottt badge. Back links are automatically generated when their badge is displayed on other members blogs or website. But before it is displayed there should be a sufficient amount of credits to a members account. Credits are earned when someone views the site where the badge is displayed. The earn/spend ration is 3/4. For example when someone views your site you get 3 credits. But when your badge is displayed on others member's site, your account will be deducted by 4 credits. 1000 page impression means you can earn 3000 credits that will result about 750 page impressions on other members site. One drawback of this service is that member cannot choose what site their badge will be displayed, unlike another back link service, where members can select where their back link will come from. The latter is preferable because bloggers can be assured of possible traffic if they decided to place their badge on a popular and high traffic site.
